PDX Vox Winter Vocal Conference
PDX Vox is hosting a winter conference the weekend of January 24th-25th, 2009. This will be a fun and rich opportunity to explore many aspects of singing and music-making that can't be fully explored in the context of the current 15-week PDX Vox sessions.
On Saturday, there will be a series of workshops taught by director Marie Schumacher, PDX Vox members, and guest instructors. It is open to anyone who would like to register.
On Sunday, those who have registered for the spring session of PDX Vox will gather for an all-day orientation and retreat, to learn a number of songs together and work on the core music skill of rhythmic sense.
Below is the tentative schedule for both days, along with the locations.
The cost is $65 per day; $130 for the weekend. Meals will be potluck.
(Instructors attend the conference for free on the day they are teaching.)
